Another $3500 Credit Limit Rate Rise

I think this may be a repeat of a previous credit card limit increase offer I wrote about, but I was digging around on my internet banking website and found that a previous limit increase that I had declined was ready for instant approval.

Gold Card One is offering an increase from $8000 to $11500.

I’m not taking it.

I’m still waiting to hear about my domain name purchase offer, I’m not spending a cent of it yet, not until I see the money cleared in my account.

Additional $3000 Credit Limit ?

I checked into my internet banking and was surprised to find on my account information page that I have a pre approved credit limit increase offer for another $3000 on my Standard Visa.

All I need to do is ring a free call number and the limit increase will be approved.

I’ve been around long enough not to take this credit card offer.

Maybe I’m learning………. I doubt it.

Credit Card Limit Increase Anyone ?

Less than four months after ignoring the last credit limit increase offer on Gold Card One, I’ve got another one.

It’s the same offer as last time, $8000 increased to $11,500.

After spending over a year with this card sitting on it’s rev limiter, I’ve managed to reduce the balance by $3-4000 over the last six months, so it’s the banks logic that as I’ve found a few extra grand to pay off the card they think I can cover the bills if they lend me an extra few thousand dollars.

Though it wouldn’t have made a difference, the offer expired over a week ago, and I’ve been slack getting my mail from my post office box, so I didn’t even have a decision to make this time.

My credit card balance will continue to shrink. I’ve got things I want to do, and I can’t do them with a chunk of non productive credit card debt hanging over my head.
