I’v got a pay rise….. and a tax cut

Not terribly exciting but together they add up to an extra $57 a fortnight. I didn’t get the payrise for doing anything special, just one of those semi-regular things that are built into our agreement.

And for a change I’m going to use the pay rise responsibly to reduce my credit card debt.

As I mentioned before I have an automatic $100 a fortnight payment going from my pay to one of my credit cards. As of next pay I’m increasing this to $150. I know you sitting there asking yourself where is he going to waste that other $7, well the answer to that is anywhere I damn well please

To be honest the cost of living has been going up and up for some time now and I’ve actually been making cutbacks just to stay in the black on a week to week basis.

Now I just need to come up with a plan not to use my credit card to pay my power bill….. maybe a garage sale on ebay………..
