I got a dose of the birthday blues recently, which is a little out of character for me. I looked back on my last 30 something years and wondered what I’d achieved on many different levels. On the finance front I’ve got nothing, a crappy old car that is on it last legs, and a house full of furniture that I generally don’t like.
So after pondering my position for a couple of days I decided to stop wallowing in self pity and said narfarkhet. I can’t change the past, so I’m getting on with it.
I’ve known for a while that if I want to get to where I want to be financially I’m going to have to make more money. I’ve been talking about it, and making half hearted efforts for ages, but it’s time to do something about it.
I’ve started another couple of websites. They are still in their early stages but I’m looking at the big picture, they don’t have to be an overnight success.

My first aim is to be making $1000 a month off the net by the end of the year. At the moment all my little internet ventures are making me about $150 a month, so I’ve got a long way to go.
Though I have recieved a very healthy offer for one of my domain names, I wont count this money until it’s in the bank, but if the sale comes through it will take a huge chunk off one of my credit cards and that can’t be a bad thing.
