Personal Loan Application is Being Processed

I got a couple of phone calls today regarding my personal loan application. The first one was seeking permission to contact my employer. I provided the phone number and reference number that personel had given me when I emailed them to give them permission to release my employment details for the purpose of the loan application. I work for a big organisation that takes privacy seriously so I pre empted it all.

About ten minutes later I get another call, all the credit card statements I’d sent with the loan application had my post office box address on them and they needed something with my current residential address. I agreed to fax a copy of my drivers license to them, then I remembered that my drivers license has my old address. So they said a copy of a recent bill would suffice, I must remember to take my phone bill to work with me tomorrow.

The girl that called me isn’t the decision maker so we’ll have to wait a little bit longer to find out if my consolidation loan is approved.
