Credit Cards Aren’t Paid Off Yet

Ted

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, not much has changed on the credit card front, without looking into it too closely I’m in about the same credit card situation that I was in 12 months ago.

Life’s like that.

It’s been a very busy couple of months, I’ve really been enjoying the summer.

On the good news front I got a very healthy tax refund which I paid straight off my credit cards. I was tempted to spend half of it on a new toy but I resisted the urge.

As soon as i get the time to fill out the application I’ll be apply for a consolidation loan to help reduce the credit card debt and also give me more impetus to pay it off quicker.

And with a new range of low interest credit cards coming out, I should be able to move all my debt to around an 11% interest rate compared to the 18% I’m paying for my credit card debt now which will save me around $1600 a year in interest.
