It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here, lots of things have been happening and frankly I’m just not spending as much time on the computer as I used to.
So to keep you up to date on me and my credit cards here are a few things that have been happening lately.
I got a temporary promotion until June 06. Which means around an extra $250 a month
My promotion will put me in front of the public so I have spent almost $300 on new clothes as my normal work attire of jeans and t-shirts just won’t cut it. (the credit card took a beating there) And I still need new shoes
I’ve finished my probationary period in my new job, so I can apply for a consolidation loan for my credit cards. looking into this at the moment
My dad is recovering as per the plan now
I’ve booked another short interstate trip for between now and Christmas (on the credit card)
I have four birthdays to buy presents for between now and Christmas
And I have to buy Christmas presents
I have to get a wedding present for my interstate trip the week before Christmas
I just put my cell phone through the washing machine. I’m trying to dry it out now but if doesn’t work in the morning I’ll be up for a new one (around $200 on the credit cards)
My car is dying a slow death, it’s nearly 30 years old and is uneconomical to repair, I need a new one but can’t justify the expense at the moment when I only drive it 2-3 times a week
Google will be sending me a cheque for around $100 at the end of November thanks to people clicking links on this site and a few others I own. I have big dream plans for making several thousand a month from the net to pay off my credit cards and not be dependant on a real job, but that’s going to take time that I really don’t have at the moment
Well that about wraps things up for now, take no notice of the credit card balance on the top left of your screen, it’s old, and with everything going on at the moment nothing good will come of updating it until things settle down in the new year.
Once this is posted I’ll be adding $500 in power and phone bills to my credit cards, I just hope I can get away without hitting the credit card for a new phone.

Before I started keeping track of my expenses, I had no idea how much I spending on gifts for everyone. It really adds up! I guess it goes around, but I’d be happy with just a nice get together.
Hope that cell phone lives!
