Additional $3000 Credit Limit ?

Ted

I checked into my internet banking and was surprised to find on my account information page that I have a pre approved credit limit increase offer for another $3000 on my Standard Visa.

All I need to do is ring a free call number and the limit increase will be approved.

I’ve been around long enough not to take this credit card offer.

Maybe I’m learning………. I doubt it.

Why don’t you take the credit limit increases?
    Don’t use them.
It will lower your ultilization, therefore raise your FICO score.
    I would think about it.

I’m in Australia, not sure if the FICO score is in use here yet. I got a credit report earlier this year from a local credit provider on it and it only had one query and one account on it.

There is a national one that I’m going to get my free annual report from as soon as I can be bothered putting pen to paper.

One thing I’ve noticed here and the USA is that credit seems to be offered at pretty much the same rates to everybody…… as long as you qualify and don’t have a bad debt history.
