I’m A Broken Man

All my good intentions seem to have gone out the window this month.

I’ll come nowhere near meeting my goal of $1000 off my credit cards for the month.

But there has been circumstances outside my control

  • My flatmate has decided to move out, it was on the cards since we moved in, so it’s not a great problem, it just means that I’ll be paying all the rent which will reduce my ability to service my credit cards by $220 a fortnight
  • I’ve got a full time job, this is a good thing, but I’ve been stuffed around by payroll going from a temp to a permanent employee, so I’ve put some extra things on my credit cards that I normally would pay cash for
  • As my flatmate has moved out I am returning her part of the bond money, this is also impacting my cash flow, but she is being good about it all and I’ll be returning it over a few weeks
  • I think we’ll just say June was a bad month and try and see what we can do in July.

I know that without a flatmate I’m going to have to increase my income to get anywhere near my goal of $1000 a month off my credit cards, so I need to invest some more time on my online business, but that will atleast take a couple of months before it will impact my earnings.

Oh well, I’ll get the credit cards paid off one day.

PS It’s been over a month since I recieved my GE Mastercard and the still haven’t sent me the credit card balance transfer paperwork. I don’t think this card will ever have a cent put on it.
