Another $50 Gone

Ted

I’ve just transferred $50 from my business account to my standard visa, I hadn’t realised that this payment was a week overdue. Fortunatly this credit card doesn’t incur any late payment fee’s at this stage.

I was delaying this payment as I try to pay my business credit cards from my business account and my personal use credit card from my personal banking account. Business income has been a little slow lately so I’ve been supporting my business debts from from private account.

However I am expecting a little bit of extra cash to flow into the business account within the next week or so, and I had this earmarked to make the business credit card payments (That’s the standard visa and Gold Visa Two). So I had held off making the payment.

So hopefully this time next week I will have made 80% of my monthly payment goals, with still two weeks to go.

On the employment front, one of my referee’s told me today she had been contacted to give a reference. I haven’t had an interview yet but I see this as a good sign. If I am lucky enough to score the permanent job, I can apply for a consolidation loan after my three month probation period ends.

I could apply straight away but I don’t want to risk getting the loan refused, as this would go as a negative mark against my credit report (i think). And I have gone to great sacrifices to make sure I have a decent credit report, many a time I’ve gone without basics just to meet the monthly minimum payments on my credit cards.
