I’m above average at something !

Ted

Reports show that average credit card debt in Australia is $2475 (as at October 2004) which is only $6 less than the figure in May 2004.

I have three cards, and not one of the balances is below that figure, and with my biggest Visa cards’ balance around five times greater than the average I have a reason to be proud.

At last I have physical proof that I’m way above average !

The only figures I could find for the US credit card debt levels were based on a per household basis, and that it exceeds $US8000 per household. So on that scale I could claim to be an above average American, even with the exchange rate.
